Introduction:

The logistics industry performance has experienced favourable growth over the years, owing to the manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and business services spending. Growth of the logistics sector in Malaysia is expected to grow between 5% and 6% annually and according to the study conducted by HRDC, employment in the field is expected to grow 22% between 2012 and 2022. The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) as an independent international professional body in supply chain, logistics and transport across the world is a qualified training body that offers the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences and constantly strives to keep up with the ever changing development in the industry. This programme is tailored to meet the needs and knowledge of the industry with emphasis on activities and aspects of logistics and transportation.
